Mathiveri Learning Center, founded by experienced educator Hassan Rasheed, had achieved initial success delivering practical online short courses via platforms like Zoom and Viber. However, its fragmented administrative processes , lack of accredited offerings , and absence of dedicated e-learning technology were limiting growth. MLC engaged us to create a strategic plan to elevate its operations and market position.
Our comprehensive 5-year plan addressed four key perspectives: financial, customer, operational, and innovation. It included industry analysis (PESTLE, SWOT, Competitors) , redefined product streams (online short courses, face-to-face classes at the new Mathiveri campus , and MQA-accredited programs ), detailed operational value chains (current vs. future automated model) , and provided HR, marketing, financial projections, and risk management frameworks. A core component was the strategic action plan outlining steps to build brand recognition, expand course offerings, improve efficiency, and develop a bespoke LMS.
- Strategic Transition Roadmap: Guided MLC's evolution from an informal online provider to a structured, blended learning center with physical campus operations and accredited courses.
- Custom LMS Development Plan: Outlined the strategy, user roles (admin, course developer, tutor, student), and functionalities for building a proprietary Learning Management System to automate processes and enhance the student experience.
-
MQA Accreditation Strategy: Developed the plan for MLC to achieve Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) accreditation for selected skill-based and business/management courses
. - Operational Efficiency Blueprint : Analyzed the existing, fragmented value chain and designed a future-state, technology-driven operational model centered around the new LMS.
- Financial Planning & Growth: Provided detailed 5-year financial projections (revenue, expenses, cash flow) based on the strategic goals, including new course launches and LMS implementation.
